BEST WESTERN Santakos Hotel

Hotel was well located between new and old town. Free parking at the hotel. We had a King suite. It was big and beautifully decorated. Beds were comfortable and the room was silent. Breakfast was good.

Perfect hotel location, just opposite street to the city centre. Exceptionally clean room.

Our family visits this hotel often and we are very happy with a location and general conditions of the hotel. The hotel also owns a big parking space which is very convenient for those coming with cars. Santaka with its classic interieur and view to the Oldtown and the Temple of Candles, radiates the unique Kaunas spirit and charm which is very valued by us, born in Kaunas.

The hotel is located in historic building and has soooo much charm. Our room was located on 6th floor, which has a special way of getting there. Reception staff were very nice and helpful. There is a free parking on the back of the building. The location is fab, walking distance to town, castle and anything else you would want to see. Overall we would definitely stay here again.

Room was spacious and nice and had a lot of facilities. However, it is rather old and needs a proper facelift. We left early and they suggested to hand us a packed breakfast, which was a real joke - a couple of small triangular tasteless sandwiches with mainly mayo, an orange an a bottle of water. BTW, they do not supply you with drinking water in the room - a regular treat by all hotel of the same lever. Location is perfect, but the staff at the receptions was quite rude. All in all it is a good option in the center of town, but needs better management.
